		<title>everything has vanished!!!</title>

		<description><![CDATA[Hi i turned on my laptop today to find that everthing in my bit comet has vanished. Everthing-completed files pending files and torrents that were downloading fine last night. I have very limited ability with computers and i have tried looking at the FAQ but i cant find anything that applies to this situation. I had a h*** of alot of stuff completed and would really like to get it back. Ive gone on my "local disk/ computer" and all the names of the torrents  are there but they dont seem to contain anything. How can everthing have just left bit comet over night and where did it go? I would really appreciate any advise. Many thanks.]]></description>

Luckily, I saved unfinished files in a seperate hdd.After I reinstalled with 7 and I followed the instruction to open the unfinished file, the prompt will show % and nothing happen. 		<title>Transfer torrents from mutorrent to BitComet 1.3.2</title>

		<description><![CDATA[Hello,<br />
I have many  downloaded by mutorrent torrents. I have torrent file and file with content.<br />
I changed my client from mutorrent to BitComet anfd would like to seed already downloaded torrents by BitComet.<br />
I tried open new torrent -add torrent from torrent file and note the way to already exist files with content.<br />
Then to avoid the repeat download I stop the torrent and start Check hash.<br />
I thought that in this case the BitComet see that the files with content already downloaded and start to seed it.<br />
But BitComet after check hash doesn't see that files alreaddy exist (downloaded) and informed me that the progress of download is 0% and start to download files one time more.<br />
<br />
Please explain what I do incorrect and how I can seed the files.<div id='attach_wrap' class=''>

I'm using BitConet 1.29, in a windows 7 64bit OS..<br />
the problem is I have been downloading this for almost 2 days because my net is kind of slow (DSL) and i am at 50 or something percent, and then when i continue my download later this day i have founded out that my progress got back to 0.2%. But the "time elapsed" shows that i have been downloading it for 2days 6:38:22 exactly and my download size is 4.51gb... been trying to check the hash because i thought that i just need to check it, nothing happened. I tried continuing the download to check if it is just a glitch or something now it is at 1.5% and stopped it for i need guidance..<br />

I definitely don't want to start over again because of the 2 days being spent on this file...=/<br />
and sorry if I have my grammar wrong xD.<br />

I emailed customer support, about 20 times using the same message because they never responded, and still no response.  I had hundreds of downloads.  Never had this ever happen.  The files are all still there, but I have no idea how to make them reappear in bitcomet.  Can anyone help me with this?</description>

2. Does watching a video in preview mode affect other peers downloading the torrent? Does it slow others down?<br />
3. Can the host of the torrent u r downloading or any of the seeders see if you are downloading sequentially? And is it wrong, or against the rules?<br />
4. Can the torrent site see if you are downloading sequentially, and once again is it wrong? Can they ban u or something? ie...isohunt/piratebay<br />
5. Can all videos be watched in preview mode(like all types HD, 720p, dvdrip, xvid, ect..)? And why does it not completely work sometimes, such as there not being a total file length time therefore not updating the download in media player so it  won't play all the way through when it is definitely downloading fast enough? It will only play as far as you have downloaded from the time u open the preview, it does not continue adding data, how do u stop this from happening?<br />

In every other flash and video website the download media files show all the files swf , flv  etc and if its a video file its easy to understand that it will be a file in mb size since any video ranging from 1 min to 20 min is in mb size, but only in youtube all files appear except the video file which should be in mbs instead multiple flv files appear that are only of 1.69 mb size and after downloading this, it doesn't play. I am using BitComet 1.09; Windows XP; Norton Internet Security; ADSL with an download speed of 8000kbps and an upload of 7000kbps. The computer connects to the internet via a wire into the wall at the hospital where I work.<br />

BitComet and Skype are not allowed so, to get round these blocks, I use Strong VPN and everything works OK. Except that the Listening Port is blocked.<br />
<br />
I have checked in Norton Internet Security and the Firewall is properly configured to allow BitComet.<br />
<br />
Despite the Listening Port being blocked, BitComet still manages to work quite well. It is currently downloading a raft of torrents at an aggregate speed of 865kB. Do I need to unblock the listening port and, if so, how do I do that through a VPN? The VPN says my assigned IP is 10.8.10.166.<br />
<br />
Any advice would be much appreciated. In advance, please accept apologies if question is improperly phrased. I did look on the forum to see if there were Listening Port problems associated with VPN and couldn't see. If such does exist, a point in the right direction much appreciated.<br />

		<description><![CDATA[I've noticed my physical memory usage (watched it from task manager) keeps rising as long as my bitcomet is open, i tried leaving my computer on with bitcomet closed and my memory stayed the same (did not rise abnormally)<br />
i've read somewhere in this forum that this is normal (for some reason i can't recall), the problem is it wont go back to regular levels (around 25%) after completely closing/restarting bitcomet, it will only do so after a fresh reboot of my computer<br />
its bothering me because im seeding 24/7 (= memory always rising) and i hate to have to reboot every other day<br />
every time it reaches 40% and higher it's starting to effect my computer performance (=takes more time to do things, audio/video jamming, gets stuck for a short while) and it becomes unbareable after a day or two<br />
I'm asking for help at this forum because i can't seem to find any other explanation for the memory rise, and it only happens while bitcomet is on<br />

So, I tried to download something, after and hour or so I found what I was looking for via direct download, so I stopped the torrent and delete it with the downloaded files, I didn't notice at first, but the folder with the downloaded files was in my desktop, usually they go to C/Downloads, I tried to delete it "manually" but I could not because "It's been using in another program", I closed BitComet completely, but I still could not do it, I restarted my computer and tried again with no success. I went in safe mode, and I deleted the folder completely, but now every time I start windows the folder appears on my desktop again, but it's empty though, and I can delete it from there, but it appears every time I turn on the computer.<br />

Everything's fine since the lights are all green (ports tcp & udp open in router, connection online, etc.) and I can download any other torrent, but no magnet link...<br />

It seems the DHT doesnt work with magnet link on both machine...<br />

		<description><![CDATA[Upon starting my PC, browsing the internet is not a problem but once I open Bitcomet, I get get this error: Problem loading page.  It will get worse if I start a task even if I will set the download limit to 25kbps.  My connection is good for 125kbps download speed.  The worst part is I have to restart the pc, modem and router if I want to go back on browsing because I will still get the same error message even after exiting bitcomet.  <br />

I am running win xp with all the updates.  My linksys router(wrt 160n) is behind my modem.  I use to run a very old version of bitcomet without having this problem but I forgot the version number.  I started having this problem when I upgraded to version 1.29 and I thought that V1.32 will solve my problem but it did not.<br />

I'm posting because I am a torrent user who has been using another client and well that site forum is at most kind of helpful and at least really unhelpful possibly even mean.  I have used bit comet when it first came out (sometime in 1994 is when I started using it).  Ah those were the days of music sharing, so much has changed.  Well fast forward and I am back to torrents, and even though a lot has changed, a lot has stayed the same.  I am trying to do my part and seed the stuff I have, but there are some things I want to be able to do to support those torrents that are "rare".<br />
<br />
I have a limited upload rate and I want to give priority to certain torrents that are "rare" so that if someone wants then I will be able to upload those using a higher rate than some of the more popular torrents.<br />
<br />
Is there an easy way to do this?  Can I give torrents that I have a priority for what I am uploading?  I know that you can do this for downloading but it is more of an order than setting individual download speeds automatically.<br />
<br />
Any advice would be great and if it is specific for bit comet, then I will be switching back.<br />

I have plenty of disk space so that is not the problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Bit Comet to no avail. My Windows version is Home Premium and it is all up to date. I am connecting to the internet via a wireless D-Link 655 router. I did recently change my settings to open DNS and do not know if that is the problem. Please help.</description>

I wish to rename the folder containing a BitComet download. For the sake of argument, let's say it is at "C:&#092;Downloads&#092;Torrent download".<br />
<br />
I tried to rename the folder from "Torrent download" to, say, "Foo bar", using Windows Explorer. That didn't work.<br />
<br />
So what I tried to do was using cmd.exe &gt; Open as administrator, then: (1) cd C:&#092;Downloads (2) ren "Torrent download" "Foo bar". It told me "Access denied".<br />
<br />
My question is: Why do I not have access rights to rename the folder containing BitComet files despite being administrator? I suspect it is something induced by BitComet. If so, any way I can bypass it?<br />

		<description><![CDATA[I just got a new laptop and tryed to download something and automaticly it started to dowanload with 1clickdownloader.com. I deleted it and downloaded the latest bitcomet. Then i tryed to download, what ever i tryed to download it would open with 1clickdownloader even though i deleted it.<br />
In bitcomet options it says bitcomet is my default but still this shitty 1clickdownloader.com always opens.<br />
anyone have any ideas on how to get bitcomet to start downloading and how to get rid of 1clickdownloader for good.<br />

I have a slight issue with my BitComet Configuration. I always get the "Yellow Light" with a message that my WAN IP address and the specified port, are blocked. This leads me to wonder if there is a conflict somewhere. I have double checked my settings and I must be blunt.<br />

Something is very wrong.<br />
<br />
All my settings from listen port to static IP address have remained the same since I built my PC. Originally, I had BitLord installed, but due to a software corruption, I uninstalled and gave BitComet a try, due to my friends' exaltations. (I love it!) However, somehow these same settings that worked in BitLord and when I first installed BitComet no longer give the "Green Light".<br />
<br />
I have created rules in my firewall to prevent issues with BitComet. I have forwarded the port in my Router configuration. I have read several wiki pages, as well as all relevant pages on <a href='http://www.portforward.com' class='bbc_url' title='' rel='nofollow'>http://www.portforward.com</a> I have set my PC to a static IP address. I have configured the port in BitComet. I resized my DHCP IP address Pool to exclude my static IP. I have tried configuring with UPnP. I have restarted my PC, Router, and Modem in pretty much any conceivable order, as well as performing Hard Resets on Router and Modem.<br />
<br />
It seems that something, somewhere, somehow was changed, and nothing I seem to do has any effect.<br />
<br />
So... either my ISP is specifically targeting me; my ISP blocks all BitComet listening; or there is something going on I'll likely look like an idiot for forgetting. I have been struggling with this since it randomly happened a few months ago. I wanted to wait and patiently read all the necessary articles, but everything indicates I must not have forwarded my port correctly, even though I am absolutely certain I have.<br />

I have also tried CanYouSeeMe.org and it was NOT able to see my service<br />

		<description><![CDATA[Hey all, weird one this - I have just upgraded to 1.32 and i noticed with files lately (using the magnet system) - that when they were completed, they had no extension ie mp4/avi etc..and such windows didnt know what to do with them?  When the properties box comes up for the first time, the details about the file are correct - it just doesnt transfer it to the filename section above it? If i look at the file and see it is an mp4 - i just add the extension to it and all is well. It didnt do it with 1.31 though??<br />

Not a major problem, just an annoyance - but hey its damn good free software so not complaining! Is it something i can fix?<br />

I've been trying to troubleshoot a recent (48 hours) problem in which I get the gray circle and Port Detection Failed message.  I've been running BitComet for a year or so before this without a hitch.<br />
<br />
I spent a few hours today trying to follow the port forwarding part of the BitComet wiki, but I'm unable to set a static IP address (it tells me that another computer on my network already has that address, no matter which number I assign to it), and when I try to follow the portforward.com instructions for my router, it prompts me to enter my static IP address but only gives me the "192.168.1." option, and my IP address is a 192.168.0.___ format.<br />

I'm not incredibly tech savvy, but I have tried my best to read every "read this first" and tutorial before posting this.<br />

My question is:<br />

Is there an alternative to port forwarding and setting a static IP address to fix the Port Detection Failed issue? <br />

It was just working very well earlier this week with all the same equipment, same firewall settings and same antivirus software running, and the only thing that disrupted any part of my system was the storm induced power failure that caused my modem to need a hard reset - but everything is functioning perfectly except the torrent download sites like BitComet.<br />

1st time posting... I have searched around this forum and found some relevant topics however they still do not fully solve my issues.<br />

I am using version 1.31 and have roughly downloaded around 20GB of torrent files however under my statistics it suggests i have downloaded 2.5GB? Also my stats in my Bitcomet.xml file do not seem to change even though the file modify date/time does every time i close down BitComet.They seem to stay static and through the UI it says I have uploaded 1.65GB?  <br />

I also have a similar problem to this topic below. My session is always downloading. It is currently at 40MB even though i am not downloading anything. I ran Spybot and all was good and tried PG2 however it does not display any connections?<br />

What is considered a session? If i close Bitcomet now & reopen it my session stats have not reset.      <br />

		<description><![CDATA[My apologies if this is somewhere in the FAQs, but I couldn't find it. I am an occasional user of BitComet, and never had this problem before.<br />

Using BitComet 64-bit v1.31 on a fast Windows 7 machine, Ethernet cable, Netgear DG834Gv4 modem router with DGTeam Firmware, Ports properly forwarded, ADSL2+ with DL connection 16.5Mbps, UL 1020Kbps, (actual tested  DL throughput approx 14.5Mbps, UL approx 800Kbps, Windows Firewall, Norton 2012 Antivirus:<br />

I found that according to my Router Stats,  I downloaded 82MB of files from a 2.45GB torrent (all the unwanted files unticked).  Started with last good BC settings which used to work fine - DL 60Kbps, UL 10Kbps - but found that download was very slow so increased DL to 200Kbps.  So increased again DL to 500Kbps (!) and UL to 30Kbps (on the basis DL:UL ca 15:1).  Still very slow.  Seems to be because was downloading lots of bytes.<br />
<br />
Checked my monitoring software: it had recorded over 3 GB downloaded for 85MB of files!!!!  <strong class='bbc'>35x</strong>! (In this case it was at the Router, all LAN traffic excluded).  Nothing else was running at the time.  My monitoring software correlates well with bandwidth used for other stuff (e.g. TV on demand etc)<br />

Files virus checked after downloads, nothing found.<br />
<br />
So did some more downloads on my old PC, XP 32-bit with BitComet v0.99.  Connection, settings, modem, forwarding, A-V etc etc as above.  This time monitored bandwidth at the local machine.  For 11MB of files, the monitor (different software to the other moniitor) showed that about 86MB had been downloaded.  So, this time <strong class='bbc'>8x</strong>!<br />

The only thing that's changed recently is that I changed from ADSLMax (up to 8Mbps connection) where 60Kbps Down/10Kbps Up worked fine; to an unbundled connection at 16.5Mbps. There was (allegedly) no P2P restriction at the time I was on BitComet.<br />

		<description><![CDATA[I am using BitComet 1.31(64bit) + E-Mule plug-in(latest update). I have an ADSL2+ connection using a Netcomm NB6Plus4Wn Modem/Router . My OS is Windows7 Ultimate 64bit and my Anti-Virus is Avast Pro Antivirus program version 6.0.1367, which to the best of my knowledge has no firewall , leaving only the windows firewall. My home network runs 4 pc's which are cable linked by a 4 Port hub and 2,4 port switches(allowing extra Internet connections for PS3's and X-Boxes).<br />
I have gone into my modem/router and opened ports for my PC(port 45900) and also my wife's PC (Port 1900) for BitComet to use, (which gets rid of the yellow port blocked light) but i have found that when the PC's are rebooted the ports become blocked again. I have checked the modem/router and the ports are still open(no settings changed) This process is the same after re-setting the ports, (using different numbers) ,once i re-boot the ports yet again become blocked and the  dreaded yellow light returns!<br />
I am only a novice home user with an average understanding of IT, but I'm sure i have performed all the steps correctly including saving all changes in all areas.<br />
Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated.<br />

I have a network setup in such fashion, that one computer is set up as a file server, that all other computers in network can access as a network drive. This computer is running, among other services, a torrent client. Other computers are setup to automatically save .torrent files into designated folder on the network drive (say Z:/torrent).<br />

Now until recently, I have used a linux box with rTorrent client and all was well, but it died couple months ago, and with computer circulation in household I came to an unused notebook with Windows 7 in it. Now the idea for the notebook is, to connect it to a TV to serve as a media center, and, if needed, a tertiary computer for office work and similar, so changing platform to Linux is mostly out of question.<br />
<br />
I have been using several other clients on Windows before, but most any I tried was freezing on 7, so I was very glad to find out about BitComet. Works great, including scheduling and other useful things, but I can not find if there is a setting for scanning a specific folder for .torrent files. Is this possible? I searched the forum and the web, but all I found was an old thread referencing some long-lost windows script, and directing the poster to Feature Request forums.<br />
Has this feature been implemented yet, or has the script surfaced in the meantime? I am otherwise very happy with BitComet, and this would let me finally finish the setup as proper media server with all the functions I need.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I am on Windows 7, connect to the Internet with a  Network Adapter on a D-Link wireless router. I just installed Bit Comet, forwarded the BitComet port in the router and opened the  port in the Windows Firewall as well ( both TCP and UDP).<br />
I don't have any other software with firewall. Bit Comet works fine, but   ALL the downloads stop when I connect to the  VPN  (proXPN).<br />
I should mention that I have created a static IP address using the LAN IP showing in the IPCONFIG  in the Command Prompt ( IP 192.168....etc) but  I was wondering whether I should perhaps use the VPN IP instead as a Static address or use this IP somewhere else in the BitComet configuration.<br />
It seems that NONE of the free VPN I tried so far work with any of the BitTorrents applications I have tried so far. U Torrent was working fine without the VPN, so I might as well discard BitComet and go back to U Torrents, which I have been using for a few years. The only thing I find better in Bit Comet, though, is the interface and I wouldn't minfd to keep if I ca get it working with the VPN. <br />

		<description><![CDATA[I have some torrents in BC that I want to delete. When I rightclick on the torrent the Delete dialog box is outside of my monitor so I cant access it.<br />

I have previously experienced this with other programs and usually I can Shift-Rightclick the program in the taskbar and select Move and then use the arrowbuttons on my keyboard to move them.<br />
<br />
But this doesnt work here!<br />

I cant access the dialog box no matter what I try. I have tried to Alt-Space and then choose Move but nothing happens when I use the arrow buttons afterwards.<br />

2. on the peers there all the client types are other client such as utorrent none of them are bitcomet client<br />
3. when i login to this website google warn me that there is malware in the forum<br />
4. i try other p2p software like pps and utorrent they function quite while<br />

		<description><![CDATA[Howdy Folks, Here's what I got An old Dell Dimension 3000 desktop W/ a 2.66 GHZ Celeron CPU, 1 GB Dual Channel DDR RAM, DVD ROM, CD/RW & 1.44 MB 3.5" Floppy on Windows XP W/ SP3. I am using Bit Comet 1.31, Windows firewall & Comodo Internet Security & System Mechanic Pro 10 Anti-Virus. Time Warner Cable - Road Runner Light ISP through a Ubee DDW2600 wireless router, using an ethernet cable. Ports are open & forwarded in Windows firewall. Manually opened in Ambit website. Activity in both directions according to Comodo. I have tried UPnP on & off, currently it's off. I have read a bunch of posts & can't seem to find the right answer to get the green light on. Bit Comet still says my TCP port is blocked. Anybody notice what I'm doing wrong? As an aside, in order to get the wireless router from TWC I have 2 modems. The other is a Arris But, I was told it now only goes to the digital phone not the PC. Cable wire has a splitter in it. 192.168.0.1 internal IP, 74.x.x.x:24182 external IP. External IP is listed by yellow light.<br />

Ok, this is the first time I've downloaded something after a rewhipe, and Bitcomet downloaded, they finished, but they do not seem to exist on the computer.  Bitcomet see's them, I can preview them.  They do exist, but windows explorer can not see them.  I think I've encountered tyhis problem before but I can't seem to find a solution. I know there is a proxy option, after i entered  the vpn details, it seems not work,<br />

		<description><![CDATA[First let me say Im running Vista Home Premium 32. I've searched google and it seems no one has the issue I have. Whenever I download an even semi decent size torrent with Bitcomet and utorrent it slows my pc way down videos sound crackle while downloading games glitch while playing also. Never had this issue on XP or 7 so I'm assuming it good ol Vista that's the problem but if there's any help to try and fix this problem. My download speeds are no issue.<br />

		<description><![CDATA[I noticed that when BitComet downloads an archive with many files (for instance, thousands of images), it becames extremely slow. Doesn't crash, it just stops for one or two minutes every time I select that kind of torrents.<br />

All other torrents work as expected (DHT, green light, etc).<br />

Is this a known bug or is there a way to solve this annoyance?<br />

		<description><![CDATA[I am having a peculiar problem with Bitcomet as of late. For quite some time I was attaining download speeds that exceeded 2/mbps then, just as of a couple of weeks ago, I have been unable to hit speeds of more than a 30 or 40 kbps trickle no matter what I attempt to download. This problem seems to have developed in conjunction with an inability to signin with my CometID within the client. <br />
<br />
More often than not, peers remain perpetually stuck in the greyed out "bt_connecting" mode but, oddly, when I actually do establish a connection with another peer, that peer's port is almost always within the 6000 range. <br />
<br />
Additionally, even though the port I have open in my firewall has not changed, whether bitcomet actually acknowledges the open port appears to be sporadic and random. Sometimes I get the "green light," othertimes it is grey. If it has chosen to use the open port ("green") I get the trickle, If not I'm dead in the water. <br />
<br />
I do not believe the problem is with the client. I tried out uTorrent which had nearly identical symptoms (the only difference being that I was unable to connect to any peers whatsoever even when it did acknowledge the open port). I have also tried to reinstall bitcomet to no avail.<br />
<br />
After spending too many hours trying to fix this issue (I am tired of spending my nights watching a network monitor), I'm flummoxed. I did not install any new software prior to the development of this problem...<br />

I just paid for the 10GB VIP pass.  I am very happy with Bit Comet so far.  My only question that I do not seem to be able to answer is am I able to download anonymously after the 10GB are up?  I have used up my 10 and now I cannot click the button to download anonymously any more. Do I only have that option until I use up my allotment?  Also, when does the bandwidth limit reset? Every 24 hours?<br />

		<description><![CDATA[Using 64-bit 1.31, on Windows 7 ultimate with ADSL.  Using a Linksys router with ports forwarding correctly and working to do downloads correctly.  The downloads work great. My issue is that I have not been able to log into the ComentId Server for several days. I have turned off all firewalls to ensure that was not the issue.  I have reset my password and still no luck. Any thoughts or suggestions.  I have also checked the FAQs but nothing is posted about this issue.<br />

I used mutorrent before for the last 3 years.<br />

Here some details about me in advance.<br />

I've downloaded a few movies .AVI/.MKV for the last 2 days,... as you can see in the list, there are possible preview only for one movie. Why so..? absolutely can not understand&#1102;<br />

 I restarted my machine this morning and as u hav read in my title, after restarting all of my files have the yellow triangle. now when i right click and open dir. i get the does not exist. although the programs and files are still saved.But all of my programs are now showing the inital bitcomet file. so i would like to backup all my torrents & setting under the import function & export it after i have installed windows 7 64bit with bitcomet v1.31 64bit.<br />

since there are changes to the different version of 32bit to 64bit can the export still function well & suceesfully export my settings & torrent?<br />

		<description><![CDATA[I may not have noticed otherwise but I am running a dual boot configuration of win xp and win 7 64 bit and yes I have the same problem with win 7 32 bit. I have my modem and router configured and ports forwarded correctly. When I boot into xp 32 bit, everything is fine and I have a green light. When I boot into win 7, even though my port forwarding has not changed and I have set up the same listening port with the same version of bitcomet, I get a yellow light and I have checked all I can to make sure that everything is identical except windows versions. Why am I green in xp and yellow in win 7 with same ports and same Bitcomet versions?<br />

I've now Windows 7 ultimate 32bit on my Asus-Notebook.<br />
<br />
Everytime i try to download something with bitcomet (1.31) it freezes after 10 or 20 seconds and i can't restart it anymore. I need to restart my Notebook to start bitcomet again.<br />
<br />
I've closed the firewall and my antivirus programm. The problem is still there.<br />
<br />
When i switch to Windows Vista (on the same Notebook) i can download with bitcomet without any problems with full speed.<br />

I would be very pleased if anyone could help me to solve this issue<br />

		<description><![CDATA[I just switched to Bit Comet and I'm having a problem with regards to uploading torrents.  I have a bandwidth monitor that actively monitors how much data I'm uploading/downloading and it reports my upload speed to be 4x what BitComet is set to.  If my upload speed goes much further than above 1/2 what my max is my browser keeps timing out and I can't use the internet for anything because of this.  Is there any reason why BitComet is uploading more than I have it set to or is there a way for me to get around how badly it lags my browser?<br />

However, after a few minutes of this everything drops to nothing, absolutely nothing even though the seeders remain high, I get zero DL numbers.<br />

When this happens the little internet icon in my task bar also goes to yellow instead of green and my wireless icon states that I am getting 2.0Mbps instead of the usual 54.0Mbps. I guess what I am wondering is, Comcast must be throttling off my internet connection when BitComet is running, but how would they know this? After I get zero DLing and shut BC off, a few minutes later my internet gets back up to full speed again and I can restart BC and get full speeds again, but again only for a limited time.<br />
Isn't 1147kBs=1.147mbps, that is not a whole lot is it? Why would Comcast throttle that back or are they detecting p2p sharing? I don't know what to make of this but it is very aggravating. I don't think it is a bad setting in BC, just wondering what you guys might think of this. I don't know what else I can add to clarify anything.]]></description>
