Hi BitComet Crew,

I hope you are all well. First, let me say I love BitComet and have been using it for several years and through several iterations. That being said I was wondering if you were planning on incorporating Magnet link support into the client? This seems to be a new emerging standard and is especially relevant now that some of the major sites are switching to this technology.

Please advise and I hope you will.

Thank you,
J

I certainly hope so.
With Mainline BT, uTorrent and rTorrent already supporting it, that would give us a huge pool of peers to trade with.

Besides, it seems that as of this month, TPB has gone completely trackerless, relying only on magnet links + DHT, so this seems to be the trend.

That's why I moved this topic to the Feature Requests section.

Best news I heard since they split the max number of tasks between HTTP/FTP and BT.
