why cometmarks can't work when I upgraded to the latest version of cometbird, how do I disable update?

This has been asked and answered many times. Cometbird and cometmarks are developed seperately and Cometbird follows mozilla firefox development. Firefox has very rudely changed major version numbers many times this year alone, going from version 3 to version 9, each time they make these unnecessary changes it renders the work of countless add-ons obsolete, and considering these are freeware, the developers just don't have the time to update them, especially knowing that firefox is about to release yet another version.

Disabling updates is easy in cometbird or firefox, just look at your options page as I'm not inclined or able to post instructions for every version, but it's quite easy.

Version 10 is out there, it's just being called "Aurora". (It will break ALL of your extensions. Uninstalling it will completely uninstall Firefox.)
