Hit and Run F**kers!

The short answer is you can't, or at least not on public torrents. You only know what they upload to you, but the person your uploading to may be one of the best sharers even if you don't see any of it. On private torrents the share ratio is monitored by the tracker, so they can be held accountable.

Best you can do is just help to educate users.

Anyhow, the BitTorrent protocol itself does this much better and faster than you ever could, on a dynamic ongoing basis for each torrent.

The peers who won't upload anything to you for a given period are automatically disconnected (except for those accepted via the "optimistic unchoke" feature which are legit peers as far as BT is concerned).

So sleep tight, you client will handle this task for you with whatever speed the label on your CPU boasts about (which is infinitely way faster than you could).

I have been a Bitcomet user from quite some time. Recently I have no

choice but to shift to another 'torrent'. I shift because client has turn to

yellow instead of green. I am using Window XP and Window 7 now. Since

migrating to Win 7, my download have been 'yellow' instead of 'green'.

I couldn't find a Win 7 configuration on Bitcomet. Hope someone can

help.

Thanks for any help. B)

Your problem isn't bitcomet, it's your lack of open internet connection and if you don't allow incoming connections, you won't get good speed regardless of what torrent client you use.

I suggest you do some reading about how bittorrent works and if you're serious about fixing your problem you'll need to provide more information and make a proper support request.
