Hello, I want to comment on a small problem that I'm actually having.

I had a list of files downloading, stopped a few of them and went to move them to a different folder than the Downloads one. In the midst of moving these files, I started getting a read error of all of the files that were still dowloading. After I rebooted my computer and re-started BitComet, no downloading files were detected, even though in the Download folder, all of the incomplete files that were previously being downloaded still remained, before the mess-up.

Is there any way that they can continue dowloading without having to start from zero?

Thank you very much, in advance.

por favor espera para la traducción

If I understand correctly, you have moved partially downloaded files to a different location, or have reinstalled bit comet, and trying to continue your downloads.

When you restart the torrent, be sure the partial files are in te correct download location, and it will continue from current progress.

If it does not, then do a "manual rehash" of the files.

You can do this by "right click mouse button", then select "rehash files"

I'm not exactly sure what the Spanish terms for these items are, but I'm sure you can find the proper function.

Once you do the manual rehash, it will scan the partial files and continue your downloads.

Please wait for the translation.

Si te he entendido correctamente, has movido archivos incompletos a otro destino, o has reinstalado BitComet y estás intentando continuar tus descargas.

How can I do a manual rehash when files don´t apear at bitcomet´s screen?

I only have partial downloads in my downloads folder!!!

Hi,

Since you seem to be pretty good with english, I suggest you post in our english section.

Any requests for support in "non english" section will be delayed while post and replys are translated.

The first step is to restart the torrent, just as you did when you first downloaded the torrent file.

If you use the correct save location, it should automatically rehash the files. If it does not, then you can "right click" on the task and select "manual rehash".

Hola,

Hello, once again.

I'll reply in Spanish, so that it remains registered here.

Thank you for the advice, it works like you said: by downloading again the torrent file (as though you were going to start a new task), the program automatically rehashes directly and picks up from where the download left off, when it was cancelled.

Regards and I'll post the next questions/comments in English, within the general forum.
