why can't i watch my downloaded files through mpc star?

oh i am not sure if this is the right section, if not i apologize:/ -
i dont think its the downloaded file as i have tried two different ones and both don't work. When i previously have downloaded movies, tv series etc, all i had to do was right click and press preview, but now the preview option is not available. I am not very good with this sort of stuff. I downloaded "supernatural-season 8, episode 10 torn and frayed HDTV x264-LOL" any ideas people please help!
