    fake torrents are usually easy to spot, just read the comments.
    dmaa99, most virus/malware infections don't come from torrents. Most are from malicious websites and usually are written to infect Internet Explorer users. I'd use another browser like Firefox/cometbird or google chrome.
    Also keep your antivirus upto date and scan everything you download.

    I wondering if I should be afraid to continue downloading torrents when I just had my first major virus attack, I didn't know how to handly it. I'm still a novice at computers and it ended up costing me more then the 2 movies(I don't know where they all came from)could of been a few diferent sites. I use to go just to Iso-hunt but lately I'll get onto other torrent sites.

    hiya...can you tell me why there are so many false dvdr ..when i first started ayear ago things were simple...you picked what you wanted then tuc it and shared it.but now there is so much wood i can not see the tree's.i know i should wait for release date...but when you see them all begging to be taken its hard to resist.and what is the porpose of so many false torrents.thx you for reading ...

    i am not really sure what to do now hence the asking for your help. i am using bitcomet1.16, my broadband connction is adsl2, using router D-LINK, model DSL-2640R, running on windows vista, using windows firewall and windows defender. can you please help me if there is a solution. would really appreciate any help. thanx, rach

    hello unusual suspect. i have installed bitcomet today as i heard it was a great torrent dowloader, the only problem i seem to be having so far is that i cant seem to open my listen port. i am not even sure what it is, but i saw the tip about setting up a static ip address in windows so i followed the instructions and have gone from a (yellow)blocked listen port, to (gray) failed port.
