  1. thank you very much, that answers my question. Actually I have read that, and now I kind of remember, and I have no problem with that. I had forgotten, but I guess we can't all be as intelligent as the rest. Thanks.
  2. Update, the upload speed does actually go down to zero eventually, when all torrents are stopped. Further update, it stopped doing it right now, typically. But it does happen how I described, honestly. So it is fair to say that this minor issue is by no means urgent, so don't put your life on hold for this one, lol.
  3. Hello all, I am experiencing the following issue on bitcomet. When I start any torrent download, my upload speed (shown at top bar of bc) goes crazy. If I do not limit my upload speed it will reach it's maximum (around 100kbps) and the download speed gets eaten up completely. I know this can be normal but the upload speed is not coming from my active torrents, which show 0kbps. (I apologise for the format here, but enter button is not working here for me) . And when I stop all torrents completely, the upload speed at the top of bitcomet remains as high as it can go, even with no active torrents. perhaps this has already been covered, and you could link me to the thread? THANKS!!
  4. yes, sorry about that. I see I was wrong about that. anyway, the problem seems to have been fixed. absolutely love bc, btw. great for missed episodes and podcasts and things. also great for finding older software versions and things. :)
  5. I must add, I am using v1.34 and a bt adsl line provided by the post office. also the title is not correct as screenshots are working fine now.
  6. Hi. I do hope this is the right section to ask this. Whenever I try to comment on a torrent I get an error message. I have used bc for a few years now and this problem is new to me. I am a complete nube, I have never opened any ports manually, or added any rules to a firewall or anything like that my self, and would probably have problems trying without full support along the way. As I said I am a complete newb, for which I apologise so please do not flame me with insults and sarcasm as I am only trying to get a little advice. also I apologise for the lack of paragraphing, but the enter button is doing nothing here. Here is an image of the error message I receive, I have just reinstalled bc and still get the problem, I get it at home and I get it here too (Mum's house, different isp). and image of the free space on my hdds, as error suggests that. Thanks for your time and patience, Addz.
  7. just to let you all know. all links are fine now. it would be nice to know if the problem was just for me or not?
  8. hi there people at bitcomet, i have been experiencing the following link problems. when i click any internet link on bitcomet an ie window opens but remains blank. unless i already have an ie window open in which case it works fine. also the forums link does not work for me at all, when i press it nothing happens at all. the links i have tried are as follows: homepage, movies, music, software, games, vip, and the torrent search button - all of these only work if i already have an internet explorer open. (took me some time to figure this out) forum - does nothing at all thanx, cooler.
