  1. Howdy, again folks & thanks dude. I understand what you wrote & it seems that isn't quite where I was @. Here's what I ended up finding in my case. First the instructions on PortForward for me were incorrect. I have an Ambit router U10C037 (Ubee DDW2600) - But, I had to use the instructions from the U10C022 model. With this I got the router port forwarded & opened. Next I double checked the port was static with the PortForward tool. I also split the 2 protocols & allowed them separate permissions on the router website. I was still having trouble with the TCP port so I checked the firewalls again. & what I found was that Comodo firewall has 2 ways to allow a port to be open. They both have to allow permission for the port to be fully open. I had 1 set but not the other. I changed it to allow & bingo 2 green lights. I assume I could go back & combine the protocols on the router website but, if it ain't broke don't fix it. I hope this can help others, I like Comodo Internet Security & didn't want to uninstall it. BTW I am refering to a global setting in Comodo that needs to be set. Not just the program permission. Thanks again to all involved.
  2. Howdy Folks, Here's what I got An old Dell Dimension 3000 desktop W/ a 2.66 GHZ Celeron CPU, 1 GB Dual Channel DDR RAM, DVD ROM, CD/RW & 1.44 MB 3.5" Floppy on Windows XP W/ SP3. I am using Bit Comet 1.31, Windows firewall & Comodo Internet Security & System Mechanic Pro 10 Anti-Virus. Time Warner Cable - Road Runner Light ISP through a Ubee DDW2600 wireless router, using an ethernet cable. Ports are open & forwarded in Windows firewall. Manually opened in Ambit website. Activity in both directions according to Comodo. I have tried UPnP on & off, currently it's off. I have read a bunch of posts & can't seem to find the right answer to get the green light on. Bit Comet still says my TCP port is blocked. Anybody notice what I'm doing wrong? As an aside, in order to get the wireless router from TWC I have 2 modems. The other is a Arris But, I was told it now only goes to the digital phone not the PC. Cable wire has a splitter in it. 192.168.0.1 internal IP, 74.x.x.x:24182 external IP. 3. Not sure where that leaves me. The statistics tab in bitcomet lists 2 IP addresses, 1 listed as LAN & 1 listed as WAN. I am trying to get rid of that d*** yellow light.
  4. 1. BitComet 1.27 2. Time - Warner Cable; Road - Runner 3. Ubee / Ambit ; U10C037, DDW2600, DDW2700 Hard wired to computer w / RJ45s, UPNP is enabled. Port not forwarded yet. That's my problem. 4. Dell XPS M1730 Laptop, Win 7 Pro, Comodo Internet Security Suite. 2.5 ghz W / 6mb L2 cache, 4 gb RAM, 800mhz FSB, Blu-Ray RW, 2 HDs 160gb + 500gb. Howdy, I want to use the LAN cable & not the WAN wireless on my home PC. BitComet seems to go to WAN automatically. It shows both IP addresses in the statistics tab. I can't seem to find a settings to change this. I have the wireless option turned off on my PC at home. The PortForwarding program doesn't even see my internet connection. No IP address listed. Ipconfig shows the LAN connection as correct & active. FYI my old RCA modem - router died. That one worked fine. Port was set to static. If it matters I am a Lt. Colonel, 15220 score. LAN is 192 168 0 10, WAN is 24 58 109 96. I am trying to use port 10002. Speed is still set for my cable capacity.
  5. Thanks, again. I followed the instructions for a static port & forwarded it correctly. Green light is back. See info below. I assume that will stay on now. 6. Howdy, My list first: BitComet 1.25 - Time Warner cable broadband - 1 modem Arris TM502G - 1 wireless router RCA / Thomson DCW725 - Windows 7 Professional - Comodo Firewall - System Mechanic Pro 10 anti-virus. I used the help you folks have here to turn on my routers UPnP function. That did get rid of the yellow light on the bottom of BitComet GUI. after a restart yesterday the yellow light is back. Also, the UDP & TCP listen port are the same port 26855. I have checked the router UPnP is still on. windows firewall & Comodo Have BitComet allowences. Windows also seems to be set right. I do have my up & down speeds set correctly. I am not sure what to look at now. Anyone have any thoughts on where to go? Howdy, again. This seems to be a continuation of the earlier problem. (see above) After a restart for an update to another program I lost the UPnP router. The router settings still say it's on, but BitComet isn't finding it. Overall Tasks: Total:39 / Running: 18 TCP Connections: Established: 95 [MAX:Unlimited] / Half-Open: 54 [MAX:200] LAN IP: 192.168.0.10 WAN IP: 24.58.108.228 Listen Port of TCP: 26855 (Blocked by Firewall/Router) Listen Port of UDP: 26855 (Blocked by Firewall/Router) Windows Firewall: Added [TCP added, UDP added] UPnP NAT port mapping: Failed [uPNP device not found!] Overall Download Rate: 198 kB/s [MAX:1171] Max Connection Limits: 50 per task Overall Upload Rate: 92 kB/s [MAX:95] LT Seeding: 0 kB/s [MAX:3] All BT Upload Slots: 17 Free Phys Mem: 1.08 GB (Min to keep: 50 MB) Disk Cache Size: 50 MB (Min: 6 MB, Max: 50 MB) Disk Read Statistics: Request: 23559 (freq: 5.7/s), Actual Disk Read: 16956 (freq: 5.1/s), Hit Ratio: 28.0% Disk Write Statistics: Request: 34072 (freq: 11.5/s), Actual Disk Write: 4131 (freq: 0.0/s), Hit Ratio: 87.8% Total Downloaded: 426.95 GB Total Uploaded: 114.80 GB Again, any help would be appreciated. FYI I have verified my firewalls seem to allow connections. Thomson site says router UPnP is on. The site you recomended to check the port can't find the port either. Also my router is wireless. But I only use 2 of the hard wired ports right now. Before I only lost one port. Now there both blocked. No settings have been changed that I am aware of.
  7. Howdy, again. I did as suggested. Here's the result. I turned off windows firewall & rechecked listen port. No change. Turned off Comodo & rechecked again. No change. Closed & restarted BitCommet & all OK. Restarted fire walls, all still OK. Port forwarding is set to automatic. Thanks.
