  1. Today, I downloaded and installed the latest stable x64 version on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and downloaded a file, but it did not save the file extension. Therefore, the downloaded file was like 'book' instead of 'book.pdf'. Why would this happen?
  2. I just installed the latest bitcomet today, and I realized that it saves the torrent and xml files in C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\BitComet\torrents. Is there any way to change that folder? I couldn't find it in the settings.
  3. That is very good news. Thanks. I don't have a Mac Computer but I have hybrid MBR Partition (MBR/EFI).
  4. I arranged the folders in an NTFS partition for now. The funny thing is I cannot even back up my files on non-NTFS partitions even with with Shareware programs. They don't even accept Hybrid (MBR/EFI) Boot Partitions (Known as MBR partition). I am doubting if my Video Editor Programs will accept HFS+ to write the files, I haven't tested yet. If not, that empty space in HFS+ will only be a temporary folder for keeping some files (Windows copy/paste). Yes, you are right about MacDrive: It is not making it completely read/write because not every program is recognizing it as NTFS.
  5. That is already selected, and that folder is in HFS+ partition also. I had 24 GB torrent file, which was downloading from my previous install. I moved the torrent to the HFS+ partition with no problem (by Windows cut/paste). After that, I clicked on the torrent file (.torrent) to download it, but I came across the 4 GB warning. I tried another torrent over 4 GB (new torrent, no previous file), same warning.
  6. Hi! Thanks for your reply. The program makes Windows see the partition as HFSJ. Sorry for asking this, but how can I make a request (I couldn't find a specific thread or topic in the forum) ? That request for disabling the NTFS warning can really be useful.
  7. I am using MacDrive to read and write HFS+ partition. When I choose the downloading location for BitComet in HFS+, it is telling me that I have to change the location because the file size is over 4 GB. I am able to write over 4GB files by using Windows copy and paste, but not with Bitcomet. How can I solve this?
  8. One more additional info. I realized that Bitcomet sometimes starts hask checking all tasks after one or more tasks completed. And the option "Move completed files to" is selected on mine with "move only from the default directory". I am just giving it as an extra information. Thank you for your replies by the way.
  9. When my computer was open, I closed Bitcomet, and started Bitcomet again. (Some tasks were still waiting for the hash check up). After I started Bitcomet again, all the tasks were stopped. (Even though Auto-resume at every program startup is selected.) I chose all the tasks again, and they started all downloading without any hash check. (Even though before I closed the program, there were some tasks waiting for a hash checkup). Maybe, this thing will help more to identify the problem.
  10. Hello, I had 1.23 and I updated to 1.26. Hash check at every restart started. I exported the task list. I reverted back to 1.23. Imported the tasks. The problem went on. I used "save torrent as..." for every task. I uninstalled 1.23. Restarted. Installed 1.26. From the torrents that I saved, I created tasks one by one, waiting for each one to finish hash checking, hoping that it wouldn't hash check at every restart, but it is still going on. Is there any way to fix this? Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Comodo Internet Security Avast Antivirus Cable Modem + Dlink Router (N DIR 615) (Wired Connection) (There is another computer connected to the router, again wired, but it is not using Bitcomet or any other torrent program.)
