I intend putting some films onto dvd disc but I am not sure about which method to use. If i put them onto disc as data i can get a lot more on than if i put them on as dvd, My question is which of the two ways is best for keeping the quality of the film. Thank You LAZ14AD

Hi, I have downloaded a TV series, "Heartbeat 2", but when I try to play it on the computer, media player says it cant play it because the file isnt supported or the codecs are wrong. I have also tried it on the TV but it still doesnt play. I downloaded k-lite codec pack to see if that would solve the problem, but it still doesnt play. I have allready got "Heartbeat 1 & 3" and they both play without any problem. I thought that I must have downloaded one with the wrong file but I have checked the files and all three series are identical "dvdrip.xvid.avi (AVI video file). With my limited knowledge of computers I think my best and easiest choice is to redownload it and try to get a different download. The problem with that is how do I tell that I am not downloading the same as before, does anyone know of a way to tell the difference before I start to download. Thank you for your answer to my question, I understand more now.I copied the film onto a "Iomega Screenplay HD Multimedia Drive" and was trying to play it back on the TV. I will have to be more careful what I am downloading in the future. Thank you once again for your explanation and tolerance.

could you please help me with a problem I have with a download I have completed. I downloaded "XYZ Complete 720p MKV" and when tried to play it on the TV. and the computer it would not play. From what I can gather it seems to be the mkv file that is stopping it. My question is, is there a way to get it to play on the TV possibly by converting the file, or will I have to Download another version with a file that is compatable with TV.
