Dark Shroud,what do you mean "old cd format"? One of the games is "the smurfs".Tried burning the bin and cue using nero and alcohol on slowest speed. But no joy. Not too keen on a case mod but tyvm TUS.

Currymonster You either have to apply the crack or replace the EXE file.To apply the crack simply copy it to the game install directory and execute the crack.If that doesn't work it sounds like you need to replace the original EXE with the NO CD crack. I've no idea what Civ IV is but lets say the original EXE is called "CivIV.exe".Rename this to "CivIV.exe.OLD" Then put the no cd crack into the same directory as the original EXE.You should then be able to play the game.

I have copies of all the games i own. ;) All my backup DVD's work on my chipped PS2 but i cannot get any backup CD's to work. I don't know if it's the software i'm using or the discs that's causing CD's not to play or is the chip not able to read copied CD's. Any body got any ideas. CD are just cheap Bulkpaq DVD are just cheap Bulkpaq +R Nero 7 Clone CD/DVD PS2chip no idea but about 3 years old (possibly older)

Not sure Nissan but i think you just got to unrar it(double click on the 1st ,red and blue,rar file) and that will give you an mds/mdf image file.This can be burned or mounted using alchohol. Hope this helps ;) EDIT: does it not explain in the NFO? open that with notepad

I got mine to work like this... First u need a static ip address.You can find info on static IP's at lots of places but http://www.portforward.com/default.htm is where i went. Second ....forwarding ports ... open hub manager Click "Advanced" then "switch to another user" You may have to enter name and password. Usually it is "admin" and "admin". Then select "toolbox" Then select "game and application sharing" At the bottom of screen select "create a new game or application" In the "NAME: NEW NAME" part put Bit Comet. Then click "manual enrty of port maps" Ok here u need to know Bit Comets listening port. You can find it at the bottom of here " bit comet/preferences/connection" I have read that a port between 50,000 and 60,000 is best. "protocol"=TCP,UDP,ANY..........set to any. "port range"=Bit Comets listening port (same number in the top and bottom box) "trigger protocol"and "Trigger port" i left blank but u can read about them at http://www.portforward.com/default.htm. Click "add" then click"Assign a game or application to a local network device" Under "game or App" scroll down to Bit Comet" and select it. Under "device "pick the pc that you want the ports forwarded to. Click "add". Thats it....your done. You need to configure any Software firewall you may have and remember to check windows firewall. Whoops. I have DL this file for my printer "epson10386.exe" but when i click it i get message saying it's not a valid win32 app.When i try to unzip i get a message saying the file is corrupt. File size on the web site 3.3Mb.Size on my desktop 640.1Kb. Tried renaming .exe to .zip and .rar but still no joy. I'll try DL on to a different pc.See if that helps. Damn that download accelerator. Just downloaded onto another pc and all is well. Thanks for the help guys. ;)

Hi kokway. Try DL a high seed file,then see what u get. Try this one http://borft.student.utwente.nl/~adrian/to...all.exe.torrent It's an office program. U don't have to DL it all,just leave it running for a bit,see what speeds u get then stop and delete.

I have never had the need for a printer up untill now. My Daughter needs one for printing Word and Excel docs for college. I have managed to get a used one (for free) but need the install CD. If any one can point me in the direction of an Epson C42UX CD/software i would be very gratefull. B)

I went over everything again and couldn't find anything wrong so decided to change my static ip again.But this time i didn't use the one in ipconfig /all.I assigned my self a made up address. Now all seems well. I have local and remote connections in BC and in UTorrent (am i allowed to mention that here.... ;)) i got a green tick instead of a yellow triangle. Way Hay :D

Using BComet .70 and most of my connection are local(except for 3 Bitlord users which are NAT traversal) I get no remote connections.I Understand this to be a problem with firewall on my end.I,m connected using the new shiny white BT Home hub(not using wireless) and have forwarded BC's listening ports(TCP and UDP=49000)in the hub.I also have Norton Protection Center and have "Permit all" in the configure firewall part for BC.XPsp2 firewall is disabled.Download speeds usually poor but can max out if i DL this "OOo_2[1].0.4rc1_060622_Win32Intel_install.exe".Speed usually gets upto 180kb-200kb.Upload speeds regularly 40-50 kb.DHT connected node:1361 with a little green light at the bottom of BC.Upnp disabled in BC and in the hub.I,m not complaining about speeds and BC runs ok(no hangs or crashes) and pc runs smooth. I was jus wondering why i get no remote connections? (Currently downloadin a 3.5GB game,KBdown=40__KBup=40__seed/peer[all]=21/113[22/144] all but 3 connections are local,3 NATtraversal. Any body got any ideas ? EDIT Just been doing some more reading. I jus carried out 2 port checks .1 here http://btfaq.com/natcheck.pl and 1 here http://www.canyouseeme.org/. Both are saying that they cannot see a service running on port 49000. So i guess my port forwarding isn't setup correctly. Can any one point me in the right direction ?
