Hello, Did you regiter a CometPassport account and login your CometMarks plugin at the right bottom of CometBird? If you did, that will be much easier. Your bookmarks will be stored in our server and you just need to login your account when you finished CometBird installation. A pop up disloag will ask in what way you want to merge your bookmarks. Choose "Use Sever bookmarks replace local".

davelee, we need you to provide required information as listed in "read this before postingd this before posting" so that we can find your specific problem and help you out. And as you didn't provide and it seems you are encountering the same problem about installation in Windows 7. So kluelos recommended you to read that related FAQs in our wiki. If you read that topic carefully "Possible installation problems related to UAC", I think you may understand what's the instruction in that page. If you enable UAC, double-click the setup package and click "yes" if windows asks you if you want to elevate the privilege or if you want to continue to install BitComet or things like that. Installation could be success. If you disable UAC, only administrator account will have access to install BitComet on your computer.

@kluelos, I forwarded this post to the team. And as this is somewhat similar to Wiz's post. And he also deleted all tasks but still uploading. So our team think that's the same problem and caused by the same bug. But anyway, we need his confirmation, exiting Bitcomet or trying new beta solves that problem.

Following please go: The lastested BitComet communicates with other BitTorrent mainline by new/offical BitTorrent Extension Protocol and communicate with older clients by old/BitComet's own BitTorrent Extension Protocol. In this way, it will be compatible with both of other BitTorrent clients and BitComet older versions.
