  1. hello i am currently using firefox 3.6.13 and bitcomet 1.37 and it seems not compatible with each other. well the bitcomet is showing in the extension of the firefox, but when i try to download something using firefox. it doesnt connect with bitcomet. what are the versions compatibility you are currently using for each other? thanks
  2. This is a very strange problem that I haven't been able to find using the Googles. Everytime I open a MAGNET file using FIREFOX 64bit Nightly and BitComet 1.35 64Bit. I get the CRASH REPORT (bitcomet has encountered a problem....) Send Report Don't send report RESTART. Here is where things get very strange. Bitcomet never CLOSES and doesn't need restarting. In addititon the Magnet file downloads perfectly. If you use IE, Chrome, or Opera NO crash report. If you download a torrent in Firefox No crash report. I have uninstalled and reinstalled bitcommet with not change in behavior. I have tried switch clients but I have to admit Bitcommet kicked the other torrent's a**. I get 300kps on Bitcommet and was getting 5 kps on uTorrent. I have sent this error report hundreds of times but no just click DON'T send.
  3. I installed BitComet and started looking at the Torrent Sites entries. These worked except those links which required for me to be registered. So I registered. Big mistake. Now my Firefox returns a URL error fo any atcomet.com entry, even when BitComet isn't loaded. IE seems to work OK.
  4. hey guys, bitcomet built in "thepiratebay" search with firefox returns https://thepiratebay.se//search/ as you can see //search has an extra / the result is Not Found (aka 404). You can search within the website itself but getting this error all the time is annoying. Making chrome as default broswer this does not happen. I tried uninstalling and re isntalling bitcomet but same problem. As anyone experienced this and is there a fix for firefox 18.0? Pedro
  5. Hi everyone, As you may know I'm one of the all-time CometBird's user. I love this web browser as this is a perfect partner for Firefox — I mean, hands up if you ever wanted to have 2 Firefoxs running at the same time because of your 2 Google/Yahoo!/whatever accounts... ;) CometBird used to help a lot to users like me. However, since far April CometBird have stopped updating. Last version available is 11.0 from 2012.04.01 and Firefox's current version is 16.0.1. :o So far, none of the CometNetwork employees told us what happened, why there is no more updates since a long time. I repeat, I love CB, but it's seriously risky to go browsing around with such outdated web browser. So I think I've gotten a possible solution for all those CB users that are as worried as me — The solution is to try the Comodo's IceDragon web browser, which is a Firefox's fork for Windows, just like CB. Good news is that current IceDragon version is 16.1.0.1, which means it's just updated as current Firefox release. IceDragon is available in the same languages that Firefox, the installer is in United States English though. If you need to change the browser's UI language, once you installed and ran it, go to Tools > Options > General > and under the Select browser language (requires restart) option, select your favorite language. Then, choose your preferred languages for browsing the web: go to Tools > Options > Content > Languages section and click the Choose... button. So here you have the IceDragon web browser by Comodo. Anyway I'll keep using CometBird v11.0 until next new year because I hope they release new versions of CB. If they don't, I'll keep using CB11 until December's last days. Hope this alternative web browser helps other people as it did for me. ;) Best regards,
  6. Hello I've loved bitcomet for years. So much that I even stopped updating my other programs (firefox,add-on, etc) because it wouldn't allow bitcomet to see online videos and audios. Yet I could only do that for so long till the flash drive gave me problems and I updated everything. I went to the new Bitcomet 1.34 (64bit) but it doesn't detect any flash files. I've tired downloading 34bit or past bitcomet but still doesn't seem to help. I'm currently using 1.34(64 bit) The bitcomet 1.34 is in the extention But the bitcomet 1.30.11.3 is in the plug in I tried going into the firefox plug-ins to delete it manually but it still shows up. After uninstalling the program it looks like I can manually delete it but when I reinstall it it shows up again.. Yet even if I get rid of it I'm not sure if its enough to get Bitcomet to detect the flash files online. I've tried uninstalling firefox and reinstalling. Even deleteing all the bitcomet files after uninstalling to see if that can clean up anything. Was even willing to connect to another web brower I tired downloading chrome but bitcomet doesn't seem to connect with that.[ I've uploaded some images for you to see what I'm talking about and hopefully give you a better idea to fix the problem. I have a window 7 64bit, up graded from a window vista desktop, I use firefox 13.0.1. I use DSL 12MB internet connection. I don't have any problems with the speed, it worked fast before. With a wireless connection The information on the images will tell you about my current plug-ins. Thank you for help.
  7. I'm new to this forum and I hope this is the right place to post my question. I'm using Firefox 10.0.1 on WIN XP SP3. CometMarks syncs with IE but does not seem to be available in Firefox. I tried the tool menu, CometMarks is NOT there! Please help. Thanks in advance.
