Hello. I have a problem with downloading bittorrent files. I was unable to download bittorrent files since last month and I keep seeing the message "Port Detection Failed." I checked Bitcomet for Firewall exception but it never helped me all. What is wrong with this and how can I solve it?

(My current Bitcomet is 32 bit with version 1.47 and I am using Verizon FiOS.)

If you can, set the computer for a fixed ip and then set the router for port forwarding to that IP number. You also need to set the ports for that and match the port in Bitcomet (make it fixed and not random)

I have these IPs (I have excluded my parents' IP and my iPhone's IP because they are not related.);

192.168.1.3 (mine, Ethernet)

192.168.1.11 (Ethernet)

192.168.1.40 (Ethernet)

192.168.1.5 (android-632c42706d3c6394, Wireless)

192.168.1.7 (SAMSUNG-SM-G930A, Wireless)

Which IP are you talking about?

Go to network settings and fix your IP to 192.168.1.3 and the gateway to 192.168.1.1. Open the router with your browaser (http://192.168.1.1) and set port forwarding to 192.168.1.3 on a fixed port (preferably in the high numbers) and set that port number in Bitcomet

Check here for further info

Please do not open a new thread as a continuation of another one...it'll just make everyone reading it very confused. Keep further posts (assuming that they're about the same issue) in the same thread.
