  1. The option "bittorrent hash check on finished" was put on "false". Surely I have not modified it that way by myself. Now I have put it on "true", so I think the problem is solved, but maybe the initial cause is the update to 1.40 version. I don't know for sure, I can remember that before, in the past versions, the hash check was always active. Thanks for the answer. :-)
  2. Hello, I just upgraded to version 1.40 and noticed that at the end of the download of every new torrent there is no more the usual automatic verification of the hash, so at this point I believe I could expect some errors in the files of a downloaded torrent. There is something I can do, for example changing something in the options? Thanks.
  3. Did it! I managed to reactivate Internet Explorer 9, after disinstalling the 10. It was IE 10 that messed up everything. Now there are no more problems of that kind. Thank you anyway. ;)
  4. I couldn't open the options submenu, so i disinstalled Internet Explorer, but the problem still remains. I don't understand why every web information that was originally displayed in the lower windows of bitcomet now are downloaded separately and opened like normal http links.
  5. When I open the program two different pop ups from the internet browser are displayed immediately: "passport_info_it.mht" and "passport_login_it.mht" . Inside bitcomet there is no more the small window in the lower left corner named "please sign up" and the other info with the percentage of experience. It is the first time i notice this problem. Just to be sure I updated the program to the 1.36 64 bit version, but it continues to be the same. What should I do now? Thanks.
  6. Not always, but sometimes it happens that the program slowes down if the program window is focused on, but when you click another window and the program goes in the background, or it is minimized to an icon, the speed goes back to the maximum value. I tried many times, so I can be sure that it is not just a subjective impression. The version of software is 1.34 64 bit and the O.S. is Windows Seven 64 bit Ultimate. Thanks.
  7. Thanks for the advice but I've always stopped the program with the button "(|) exit", so I don't think I minimized it without realizing that. Instead I think I found the cause: there were some torrents that messed up the normal execution of the program. After I removed them it never happened again (and I set up to 40 simultaneous torrents). And before I loaded them Bitcomet run always perfectly too. It's very strange but I don't have any other explanation that could fit.
  8. Oh, I forgot before, both the version are 64 bit.
  9. Ahah, sorry for the italianism :P , I let it out by mistake. I meant the entry "bitcomet" in the processes schedule. That is I quit the program but actually it is still active in some way. So I have to terminate it by myself, otherwise it goes on sucking cpu resources at the same rate although the program is officially closed. Maybe now I could explain myself. I teached english language in Italy too, and that's saying something! :D
  10. Hello, I've got an i5 2500K and often I use Bitcomet as torrent client. The last version though shows a strange problem: the usage of the cpu rises to 30% with more than 10 simultaneous downloads, that is a hugeness if one considers the computing power of the cpu and the kind of work that it executes. Furthermore, when this happens, if I want quit the program, apparently it stops regularly, but the occupation of the cpu remains stable on 30% and I notice that in the schedule of the processes the voice bitcomet remains active and it has to be deactivated manually. I found this bug also in the 1.32 version. Is there any solution? Thanks. ^_^
  11. Thanks for your help, I was not confident I could express myself well in english (I'm italian). The point of the issue instead was clear, I see.
  12. Hello to everyone. I have a doubt: what happens if I install a new version of the client on a a old one that already has some tasks running? I tried the option "find updates" inside the program, but it doesn't find anything, instead on the site there is already an updated version. What do I do? If I install a new one on a old one do I risk to lose or corrupt the downloading of the preexistent downloads? Thanks.
