It worked fine again last night so it does look like the fresh install fixed the problem

im pluging in the internet cable and the other end is in the wall.

bitcommet didnt didnt turn off last night so hopefully there was something wrong with the last 2 instralls and a fresh 1 has fixed the problem. Thanx for your help

my machine is not resetting i checked last night only bitcommet is resetting. i have reinstalled bitcommet again today so hopefully it doesnt restart again tonight. fingers crossed.

yes ive allowed bitcommet with the software firewall and followed the instructions in the artical you mentioned and tried portforward.com but i cant find my router in the list they give. my problem is that i cant figure out how to forward with my router. I live in china but im not chinese im australian and can speak chinese but i cant read chinese well and the only info i can find about my router is written in chinese. im completely stuck at the moment trying to access my routers firewall. i can use the internet by pluging the cable directling into my pc and bypassing the wireless router but the listening port is still blocked so that didnt help me. Is there a way of checking what step i may have got wrong if i have made a mistake somewhere along the line.

As the title says i need some help with port fowarding and thanx in advance for any help yu can give me. Im not computer savvy so can you please help because i am completely stuck. i have bitcomet 64bit 1.36 with windows 7 and im connected to the net with an adsl cable. I have 1 wireless router a mercury MW310R model number 1.0/2.0. i have no idea how to allow my listening port with my router bitcommet is alowed with my firewall avg 2013 free. I only use the 1 firewall i have windows firewall turned off. if you need any other info let me know and ill find it for you. thankyou again for any help you can give me.

windows automatic updates was allready turned off i cant stand it and would rather to it myself. Last night bitcomet did not turm its self. i had not changed anything so i have no idea why this was. im not 100% sure but i dont think my pc is restartin, ill leave a file or 2 open tonight to check. i dont believe its shutting down in error but something is shutting it down and i have no idea why.

the torrents are not complete when bitcommet turns off. when i restart bitcommet in the morningeverything starts up normally it doesnt rehash or anything. bitcommet is shutting itself down only when left on overnight its been on all day today and didnt shut itself down even after torrents were completed .

And check for what. I cant see anything n there that would close bitcommet i thought the scheduler would only stop torrents not turn off bitcommet itself

sorry it took a while to reply ive been away for work. it did happen every night and the tasks were not completed.

when i leave bitcommet and my pc running at night with just my monitor turned off bitcommet and only bittcommet turns itself off during the night. i have just bought a new pc and it runs windows 7 my old pc used xp so i have no idea if this is caused by windows 7 or bitcommet. im using bitcommet 1.36 64 bit. thanx in advance for any help.
