I've been using bitcomet for a month now and still i couldnt figure out what are all the icons next to the file mean, and they have a lot: green arrow, orange arrow, grey diamond, blue arrows.... of course i figured out some of them but the rest are hopless. Please help! Thanks!

i honestly think we're having so many subforum already and i have adsl 2, but using the same modem i always used, it works fine.

which is....?? i'm using bitcomet and i quite like it so i dont think i will change. my friends recommended emule but it looks SO unpretty (important to me) but they're good to get ...personal stuff so i'm trying to set it up right. do you have the configuration for emule? thanks a lot

hey, i have read that yesterday actually. and i think i did everything needs to be done, still doanload from only 2 to 8 kb/s, same for upload. last night it was faster (25 to 70 kb/s) so maybe it's just my internet connection. does it make sense? and since i disable firewall (XP P2) should i get another firewall soft installed or just leave it? thanks so much!

hi do you know if its possible to use/have more than 1 client in your PC? can both programme share the same port and portforwarding details, or you add more in that NAT edit part? thanks. oh and i'm pretty sure i get everything right, i can download with 80kb/s (which is fantastic for me, i always get like only 10kb/s) but still when i test the port it's failed all the time. i did turn the firewall off. do we put external IP or the real IP in the NAT edit part? thanks a lot.

hi, i'm using DSL, it says here the speed is 100.00 Mbps, how should i put my download / upload minimum and maximum? cause the fastest speed now i can get is only 30kps... thanks

i have done everything they said but my download speeds still like 20kb/s i'm enabling DHT, NAT/firewall. should i enable UPnP as well? and check or uncheck remove port on NAT? i'm behing a firewall/router. pls help. thanks oh, and what is the size i should put in disk cache? and what should i put in the maximum upload/download rate per task? thanks

Therefore, a better service is found at www.canyouseeme.org Visit that site and tell it your listen port number. Any answer besides "I can see your service on port number ######" means that your listen port is being blocked by one or more firewalls. (Multiple firewalls do not make you safer, they just give you configuration headaches. Whatever you do to one, you have to do to all the others too.) You must configure each firewall to open your listen port. Do NOT turn all of your firewalls off. This is like taking your front door of the hinges because you're too lazy to figure out how the lock works. It will have similar results -- your TV and stereo will disappear. You MUST have one working firewall. Do not ever connect to the internet without it -- it takes more time to take a shower than it does for your computer to become infected and taken over due to lack of a firewall.
