can't get any download speed, been through all the normal procedures

hi

first off i have version 0.70 of bit comet not the wierd 0.71 version.

I normally use limewire and get a 60 kb download rate easy, downloaded bit comet an my download rate is at 1kb if im lucky, but yet im uploading at around 20kb, i'v checked that theres loads of seeds, opened ports, turned upnp on, tried it with firewall off, but nothing seems to work.

unsure if this is related but when i go to download the initial torrent i always get an error which reads: a run time error has occured do you whish o debug it; line 138; error object required
