dan_jc Posted September 17, 2006 Share Posted September 17, 2006 im running wireless though a pcmcia card through my laptop, my dad has is own laptop and he is wireless too we both run off a bt voyager 2091 wireless router, to get my bit comet at top speeds who's computer would i have to change the settings for? mine or my dads? thanks. bitdave Posted September 17, 2006 Share Posted September 17, 2006 What settings are you talking about? Dont worry about your dads computer. Go through the Settings guide(link in my sig) and figure out how to portforward your wifi router. You will also need to make it so that your PC always receives the same IP address from the router(a static IP) that way your portforwarding rule will always work.
