porcelain Posted June 3, 2006 Share Posted June 3, 2006 I find that my upload rates (usually somewhere around 100 kb/s) is drastically lower than my download rate (somewhere around 10 kb/s)... This is sort of unsettling. It almost seems as if I'm being screwed, in the sense that others are getting things faster from me, even though I get said things very slowly... Is there any way to boost my download speed? I'm really tired of being the only seeder with a ton of leechers, and I think I'm about done with it. bitdave Posted June 3, 2006 Share Posted June 3, 2006 Sounds like maybe your upload is overwhelming your connection and causing your download to suffer. You need to cap your uploads so that your downloads have room to talk. Check out Bitcomet Settings Help in my sig for setting your Global Max Upload Rate.
