BADGIRLT Posted October 30, 2006 Share Posted October 30, 2006 I dont no what the problem is but everytime i download a movie i dont have no kind of sound plus my connection keeps stopin and I have 2 shut down my modem and reboot it . if anyone can help me i will be thankful. P.S. IF IT WILL HELP I HAVE SBC YAHOO DSL AND A SIEMENS SPEEDSTREAM 4100 MODEM SO PLEASE HELP IF THERE IS ANYMORE INFORMATION YOU NEED PLEASE ASK CAUSE I NEED HELP THIS IS MY SECOND TIME TRYING 2 DOWNLOAD FROM HERE JUST STARTED STILL NEW. AND ALSO DO YOU MIND TELLING ME WHERE I CAN FIND WHAT IS SEEDERS/LEECHERS ARE, ARE CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT THEY ARE PLEASE? ALL I NO IS YOIU POSE 2 HAVE MORE SEEDERS THEN LEECHERS. bitdave Posted October 31, 2006 Share Posted October 31, 2006 Goto the terminology section here to find out what a seeder and leecher are http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitTorrent Then to stop your modem from disconnecting you need to change some of Bitcomets settings so that it doesnt make too many connections for your modem to handle you should uncheck the DHT Network (after unchecking this you must restart Bitcomet for it to take effect) you should set the max simultaneous download tasks to 1 or 2 you should set the max connections per task to 50 It is also very important your Global Max Upload Rate is set up properly All these settings are described in our Settings Guide(link in my sig) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
