quanzaboy
I've been using BitComet for a while now, and I've never experienced this strange problem... I'm downloading a file, and the download speed is around 170-180 Kb/s. However, the file itself is progressing at a significantly slower rate, since the remaining time indicator is around 30 minutes for over 2 hours now. The strange thing is that in the file info, the total amount of downloaded data is 930Mb (without "rubbish data"), even though the file itself is just 350Mb (see image below)! The download is continuing to progress at a high rate, constantly increasing the total amount of data downloaded, but the file progress itself is barely moving. Here's the info as it appears on BitComet: Any ideas?
hitender_s
Well that surely is weird, but as far as I can say, I'm guessing it has to be bad data. Correct me on this one if I'm wrong please Edited November 1, 2006 by Dark_Shroud (see edit history)

Correct me on this one if I'm wrong please Well yeah, that's what I thought too, but then why doesn't BitComet register it as "rubbish data"!? Because usually it does..
