cyrilt Posted June 14, 2006 Share Posted June 14, 2006 after configuring my router according to the faqs found here, it worked ok (well if u consider about 10kb maximum speed download ok) and i had a mix of local and remote in my peers list. And suddenly since yesterday, i have only local again in my peers list. the thing is i didnt change any settings i spent hours trying to configure the settings of emule correctly, i ve got a belkin router and a broabdband connection, so surely i should have a faster download capacity? bitdave Posted June 14, 2006 Share Posted June 14, 2006 Did you make sure that your PC gets a static ip address so that the rule you made in the router always points to the correct ip. Otherwise if you restart your computer you may receive a different ip and the rule will no longer work. As for your speed problems, have you set an upload cap?
