vincent2000 Posted June 19, 2006 Share Posted June 19, 2006 i going to change to bitcomet but when i finished installing it it can't even open. it always says .68exe eror something. heres the screen shot. sorry im just a noob i don't know anything about bitcomet how can i fix it??? help!!!! bitdave Posted June 19, 2006 Share Posted June 19, 2006 -First uninstall Bitcomet using add/remove programs. -Now delete the Bitcomet folder, if you already have stuff downloading then temporarily move the whole Downloads folder and Torrents folder to your desktop. -Now install Bitcomet v0.63, get it here. -Then move that downloads folder and torrents folder back into the Bitcomet folder if necessary. -Start up Bitcomet again and if it works then go to the Bitcomet Settings Help in my sig for help configuring it. bitdave Posted June 20, 2006 Share Posted June 20, 2006 I saw that you have Avast antivirus so I posted that link which shows you how to disable the p2p shield in Avast.
