Speed Posted December 7, 2006 Share Posted December 7, 2006 Ok, so i open up BitComet and start downloading files. and then i leave and go do something else, but when i come back, its not there. it just exits. even when im at my computer working, it just closes after like 10 minutes. and when i change something in the preferences, it doesnt stay, even when i close it manually. This usually means that the .xml file in Bitcomets folder that stores the settings is set to read-only mode. Rightclick on it and goto properties, make sure that read-only is unchecked. While you're in there make sure the other .xmls are not in read-only As for why it closes I dont know, maybe fixing what I said will fix this problem as well.
