Bug: BC 0.69 won't start

Recommended Posts

Hi there. I've just downloaded BC 0.69 via torrent (http://download.bitcomet.com/achive/BitComet_0.69_setup.exe.torrent) and installed it. After running the exe file, a dialog window appears with information, that application cannot be run, because it's configuration is improper. Reinstalled 0.69 few times and it didn't help. Any ideas ? (0.67 still works properly)

Exactly the same here only I went back to version 0.68.

After the installing the program and checking "Start 0.69" as the last action in line nothing happened.

Firing it up using the Start Menu alias resulted in the error message mentioned above.

Warm rebooted. Didn't work.

Uninstalled and reïnstalled. Didn't do the job even not after a cold reboot.

Installed the program on the suggested spot in stead of on a different hard disk. Didn't work.

Uninstalled everything. Cleaned the registry. Rebooted and installed it again. 0.69 did not want to work.

Uninstalled 0.69 and reinstalled 0.68. Started up as usual and works fine.

Sorry, we have located the bug. it is caused by an configuration error in the compile settings.

It seems that v0.70 have to be released today. what a pity~
