xonnected Posted June 25, 2006 Share Posted June 25, 2006 I've been using BitComet 0.60 for some time now with no issues. But recently, for some reason, the files are downloading to a different directory to what I have specified. Instead of downloading to D:\my shared folder\ which is how i've setup the program, it's downloading to C:\DOCUME~1\(username)\LOCALS~1\Temp\ Has anybody else experienced this? I'd upgrade to the latest version but i'm in the middle of a download at the moment. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I just started using it about two months ago and I think I picked up a bug that removed files from my Personal folder. Not all the files are gone but most are. Thank god I don't keep any really personal info in that file. The files are no longer on my computer. I run Spybot and AVG and also Adaware and haven't had a problem until now.
