How to make a clean Bitcomet install

I need to do a fresh install of Bitcomet. What I need to do? I tried to uninstall and delete the files in programes files but it's not enough.

If you want to delete your settings and tasks you'll need to delete the bitcomet.xml and downloads.xml files.

If you had provided all the info we require for a support request I could tell you where to find these files on your system but since their location isn't determined by bitcomet it can get confusing. For most users with default settings and a recent windows version you can copy

%appdata%

To the address bar on any folder and press enter, then find the "bitcomet" folder and either delete the two files I suggested or just delete the entire folder. You can also rename the folder so it will preserve the files but make them invisible to a new installation. You can also rename the files I mentioned. as an alternative to deleting them.
