cant seed when downloads finish!

Hi. Ive got this problem.. I can download and while I download a torrent, it seeds it at the same time BUT, when its finished it just stops seeding. this is really frustrating, I need to improve my ratio at diffrent private trackers. oh yeah, i only have Local initiated connection, no remote ones. so maybe my port isnt forwarded correctly? im really not that good with computers, hence why im asking for help here.

and another thing.. bit comet slows down my internet drastically. im using both mozilla and IE, and all sites loads so slow. i have to press refresh like 20 times before a sites loads.. please help me!

Ok, first do you have a router in your home? If the answer is no then you don't need to portforward.

Just a warning, ignore the part about changeing the Max half-open TCP connections. Leave this at 8, you don't need to create any new problems before you get stuff working properly.
