There is way too little info in you post. You need to provide an answer to, at least, these questions:

What's your OS?

What's you BitComet version?

What other video players do you have installed on your system?

Anyway, based on only what you said, you should know that you don't need BitComet to play the video files. The "Play" command in BitComet is merely a shortcut enabling the preview or play of files. Once the files are downloaded, BitComet's job is done and playing the files is not conditioned by running BitComet.

You should be able to play a video file in Divx Player by first opening the player and then opening the video file from within the player. If you want to open the files, also, by double-clicking directly on them, the respective file types need to be associated with the player (if they are not already).
