Assasinated Posted January 6, 2010 Share Posted January 6, 2010 ok so. when there are open several windows with 2+ tabs in each if you close one it will ask you just to close all tabs and wont ask you to save them or not. thats normal this should be so. but when you have window with 2+ tabs and download manager open, download manager is counted as another window and unless you close DM you wont be able to save your tabs. I think that should be corrected, this brings lot of misunderstandings and who dont know computer well may do something wrong and make everything worse. kluelos Posted January 6, 2010 Share Posted January 6, 2010 I'm pretty sure it has to be that way, because it would mess too many other things up when doing things that require all windows be closed -- that Firefox/Cometbird be shut down. In any case, this would mean a very big departure from the Mozilla codebase, which should not be undertaken without an overwhelmingly good reason.
