Dasmandar Posted October 31, 2010 Share Posted October 31, 2010 Do anyone has the same problem as I?When I open my bitcomet,and I play media files my media will sort of lag for 3 secs and continue sort of like my whole come freezes there and then it resumes back 2-3 sec later.It happen once every 2-5 min when I turn on my bitcomet and play media files. kluelos Posted October 31, 2010 Share Posted October 31, 2010 The pauses are due to disk activity when BitComet writes its cached material. That can interrupt the reading of the media file. This seems to affect some players more than others, and can be ameliorated by some system and player settings. Make sure your drives are set to use DMA if available. But for music I'm using another totally different drive. To put it more clearly C-music+OS D-Bitcomet dl drive+movies+tv series. As for the DMA setting where do i set it?
