lestralen Posted October 19, 2012 Share Posted October 19, 2012 I have been downloading a torrent for the last few days, it was at 80% (file is aprox 16gb) when i decided to test out the vip feature. I only had about 3-4 gb left to download but after purchaseing the vip (2 * $5.00 for 20gb of bandwidth), it said that it would use 16gb of bandwidth for the files when there was only 3-4gb remaining. My question is this, after the file is finished, will my vip account be updated and reflect that i only used 3-4gb of my bandwidth and not 16gb? seeing as i downloaded the majority of the files without the vip acceleration i dont want to lose the rest of the bandwidth i paid for. thanks for any help :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The way VIP Acceleration is set up right now, it doesn't take into account anything already downloaded by other means. It certainly should, but doesn't. Your account will (probably) say you used up 16GB. If so, you should contact Queenie to request an adjustment. You should also keep that in mind for the future, until they get 'round to improving it.
