timken Posted August 5, 2006 Share Posted August 5, 2006 I used linux (MANDRIVA) for some time, and I have noticed that , in general, the dl/up speeds are faster like 1/3 or 1/4 faster. Does anyone have the same perception, or heard anything like it ? Is this true ? Is there a way of incrementing the speed in windows to "linux speed" ? caf4926 Posted August 5, 2006 Share Posted August 5, 2006 I use Linux most of the time SuSe 10.1 but run Utorrent in that, it is certainly quick, but I would be interested to know if you were running BC in Mandriva Not sure if it is really quicker, it very much depends what you are downloading, but maybe someoneelse has some experience.
