Walnut Posted August 14, 2006 Share Posted August 14, 2006 Hello, I have been waiting for a complete download for 3 days at 98.3 % completion with over 300 - 800 other people, on and off. Seeds are available sometimes, but it does not seem to benefit any of us. I could see a red download arrow instead of a green one. What could be the real problem? Should I wait or find a new source? kluelos Posted August 15, 2006 Share Posted August 15, 2006 Good question. BitComet doesn't have an icon that's a red arrow. You get a green arrow pointing down for a download in process, or an orange arrow pointing upwards for an upload (seed) in process, or a red X for a disk write failure. No red arrow. With a sparsely-seeded torrent, you'll simply have to live in hope that one of the seeders will hop back aboard until it's completed. Take a look at the comments or the forum at the site where you got the torrent, and see if there's any news or further info about the torrent -- and possibly to request a reseed of it.
