mkv,ogm and rmbv files

Do you want to store them on a DVD or do you want to be able to play them on a DVD player?

If you want to play them on a DVD player that's a lot of work with little gain. Those would all have to be converted into the old format used by DVD players. So you get huge files withe same quality. And if the video quality is low on your moniter its going to be the same if not worse for your TV.

So let me ask you this, do you have a DVD Player that supports Divx?

You might try the VLC player. It's free and is invaluable for playing some rather obscure formats. It is real light on resources and can be found here. It also handles some of the more common formats too.

I keep it around just for those once every month or so occasions where I find something that won't play in any other players.
