wokao118 Posted August 20, 2006 Share Posted August 20, 2006 i just moved in to colege today and been forced to install their firewall and spyware killing programs and fininally get my internet working but then i find out that my bitcomet stop working it says DHT not connected and the download can't start so i just woundering if their is a way to fix it, thanks~!! kluelos Posted August 20, 2006 Share Posted August 20, 2006 First, DHT is not necessary for BitComet to work. It's nice to have when available, but is by no means necessary. As for getting BitComet proper working, it depends on what's wrong. You say the download won't start. Does it give some reason for this, some sort of error message connecting to the tracker, perhaps? wokao118 Posted August 20, 2006 Author Share Posted August 20, 2006 well,it didn't give any error but the download just won't start, school has ethernet and i have to connect to it though a hub......and i've tried other program like limewire, it won't work too. p2p got blocked?!?!
