rose999 Posted October 31, 2006 Share Posted October 31, 2006 My Bitcomet 0.75 doesn't work anymore, it says cannot listen to port:#####, how do I fix this. The preference page has not been changed, it is in it's default setting, is there a problem with the connection? I'm currently dling files on Utorrent, but cannot get Bitcomet up and running... kluelos Posted November 1, 2006 Share Posted November 1, 2006 I've seen this happen when somebody has inadvertently started a second copy of BitComet running. The first copy has already grabbed the port. It can happen when BitComet is set to automatically start with windows, but someone doesn't realize it's already running and tries to start it again.
