MpcStar 4.8 crashing on every file opened

Hi,

Ive been running into some problems where MpcStar 4.8 crashes on every file that is opened, no matter what the file type or file size is. Downgrading to MpcStar 4.4 solves the issue. I havent tried all releases in between 4.4 and 4.8, but the issue seems to be introduced somewhere between 4.4 and 4.8. Running Windows Vista SP2.

Please take a look at your system and application error logs, to see if there's a consistent error reported when Mpcstar crashes. There have been other reports of this and it would help to know whether the system is reporting anything.

Same here... pls look into the problem. All files crushes after 4.8 installed.

This problem has happened to several Vista users, we have received their crash.zip and have done some tests, the problem is now identified.

The next version will be improved. You can now switch back to an earlier version and download the next version once it's released.
