HTTP downloads

Hi guys,

I'm having a little issue which I can't seem to work out. I download regularly from Hotfile.com using bitcomet of course previously before V1.24 I was able to download at my lines full capacity but recently since installing 1.24 I was barely able to achieve any reasonable speeds

Eg.

V1.23 was able to download HTTP using 5 connections at 1.8 - 2.1MB/s

V1.24 Initial 10min Avge: 20KB/s then a constant average of 10KB/s

I have reinstalled V1.23 and have been able to achieve my regular download speeds. Any comments or suggestions regarding V1.24 would be greatly appreciated.

Give a description of your system (the OS version mainly and any security suite you might be using).

Then PM us or use the "Report" button to send us some links to files which you are able to download faster in v.1.23 than in v.1.24.

This way the development team can check if they can reproduce the same behavior, and if it's a bug-related issue, they'll be able to trap it and fix it.

Also, this way, any member of the forum staff can check (if they have the time and the same OS as you) if they can reproduce the results you're getting.

In the meantime you should try reverting to 1.23 and check that you can d/l at full speed, just to make sure the issue isn't something else that changed.
