Downloading stops after 1 download is finished

Recommended Posts

When I start Bitcomet everything is working fine. It downloads/uploads....

But then when it has finished one download, all the other downloads stop, connection with the torrents is lost?

I use version 1.25. Have tried to use previous versions but that doesn't solve the problem.

Connection is via router/wireless lan. I use PC Tools firewall.

What does that mean? What happens?

Also, please provide the remainder of the information requested.

I am Dutch and writing my problem in English is not easy, also I'm not very technical, but let me try again :-)

I am downloading several torrents. It all works fine until one download is done and now only uploads. At this point all the other torrents stop downloading. They are all disconnected and won't reconnect to restart download.

1) What version of BitComet are you using?

Bitcomet 1.25

2) What type of Internet connection do you have (ADSL, etc.)?

Wireless Lan.

3) Do you have a modem? Do you use a router? What make and model are each one of them? Have you forwarded your port?

Router. Netgear wpn82 4v2 wireless router

5) What version of Windows, Firewall and Antivirus do you use?

Windows Vista (servicepack 1). PC Tools Firewall and antivirus.

At this point all the other torrents stop downloading.

Where in the interface do you spot this?

Does the state of the other tasks change from "active" to "stopped"?

Does the whole speed drop to 0KB/s?

If yes, are there any number of peers still shown for that task?

Are there any still connected peers, in the Peers tab?

Is BitComet still connected to the trackers of those torrents?

Probably screenshots of the Summary, Peers, Trackers and Statistics tabs, BEFORE and AFTER the occurrence of the event that triggers this (reportedly, finishing one download) would help more.

Also, you failed to mention your tested download/upload speeds as well as your BitComet Connection settings. Ditto for the number of tasks you're running simultaneously.
