liger123
I saw bitcomet blog posts selling viagra. Seems like many are doing it and building backlnks to that using xrumer http://blog.bitcomet.com/post/441885/ http://blog.bitcomet.com/post/353384/ http://blog.bitcomet.com/post/264493/ http://blog.bitcomet.com/post/280278/ http://blog.bitcomet.com/post/314926/ http://blog.bitcomet.com/post/372238/ http://blog.bitcomet.com/post/256929/ Is this allowed here. Can someone answer this. If yes I will like to do the same as registrars are banning private domains that do this. Thanks Vijay Edited January 29, 2011 by liger123 (see edit history)
greywizard
Is this allowed here. What do you mean by "here"? If you're asking about the forum site, the answer is definitively NO. Anybody's account will be banned on sight if spamming is spotted. OTOH we (the staff of the forum) don't have (and didn't want the burden of) moderating rights on the blog site. It's the staff from China, which is related to the development team which administers the blog site. Obviously, they don't have enough personnel to enforce strict anti-spam policies and that's why you see that on the blog. We can't tell you whether you'll be able to get by or be penalized for spamming if you try it, for the reasons explained above. But my advice is to stay away. kluelos
Spamming is never looked upon kindly. It's certainly a violation of the user agreement. It may be ignored for lack of resources/willingness-to-descend-into-the-muck to enforce it, but it is never welcomed and never loved. Thank Ghu it's not our job to play blogcop. We don't get a lot of spam on this forum, but when we do it's killed as soon as it's discovered. Generally, we kill everything ever posted by that member spam or not, then banish the member. "Shoot first, then shoot the survivors". Blog spammers may find themselves suddenly sanctioned - accounts disabled, IP's banned, &c. Just because it hasn't happened doesn't mean it won't.
