beagleboy22 Posted January 5, 2016 Share Posted January 5, 2016 Any reason why support stopped or why they stopped developing it? It's awesome Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
The UnUsual Suspect Posted January 6, 2016 Share Posted January 6, 2016 It's difficult to maintain freeware when there are bills to pay. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
shdixon Posted August 1, 2016 Share Posted August 1, 2016 (edited) Interestingly Comet Player looks something like a software called Showplay. As you can see, it's a little more powerful but also $199. The big difference is you can add your own lyrics or what a musician needs, a chord sheet for backing tracks. If you could copy and past your own lyric page and save that as a .txt file then you could use the software when it wasn't connected to the web. For me the chords for a backing track take a format like what follows. If I could paste this into the lyrics screen and then have Comet Player save it with the MP3 file. I'd pay you for that. Now, there are other features with Showplay like scrolling text and pitch change. but mainly those are karaoke singer stuff. All I'm saying is give it some thought. 10/27/2013 CAPO 1st FretA Higher Place4 Beat/Ch {bah du da da} 3]Underline is HOLD Chord Guitars Guitar and Keys Intro - ||: [D Dmaj7] :||(4Xs) (4Xs) add notes straight Verse -||: G G [ D Dmaj7 ] [ D Dmaj7 ] :||(4xs) Chorus - Bm7 F#m7 G A Bm7 F#m7 ||: [ G A] Bm7 Bm7 :|| GA ||: [ D Dmaj7 ] :||(Repeat 4Xs) add notes straight Verse -||: G G [ D Dmaj7 ] [ D Dmaj7 ] :||(4xs) Chorus - Bm7 F#m7 G A Bm7 F#m7 ||: [ GA] Bm7 Bm7 :|| GA ||: [ D Dmaj7 ] :||(4Xs) Bridge-||: C D :||(3Xs) G AsusA ||: C D :||(3Xs) G [Asus--A ] 1 2 3 4 1234 567 8 Verse -||: G G [ D Dmaj7 ] [ D Dmaj7 ] :||(4xs) Chorus - Bm7 F#m7 G A Bm7 F#m7 ||: [ GA] Bm7 Bm7 :|| GA ||: [ D Dmaj7 ] :|| (4Xs) Dmaj7 Hold Last Chord Edited August 1, 2016 by The UnUsual Suspect commercial link removed (see edit history) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
The UnUsual Suspect Posted August 1, 2016 Share Posted August 1, 2016 Please don't post links to commercial products, it's against a rule that has served us well for many years. We do sometimes allow links to freeware apps if the intent isn't advertisement. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
