bgross Posted October 24, 2006 Share Posted October 24, 2006 Lately i have been connecting to around 30 peers a torrent, and downloading at speeds of 25-45kB\s, where most of the peers are each uploading 1 or 2 kB/s to me. To attain higher speeds do I need to be able to connect to more peers, all uploading at low rates, or should I be getting higher upload rates from the 30 peers i do connect to? -Bay Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
The UnUsual Suspect Posted October 24, 2006 Share Posted October 24, 2006 What often causes slow speeds if users that run multiple torrents, therefore sending almost no data to any one of them. And they themselves receive almost no download, since they arn't uploading, so what do they do? they start even more torrents. One at a time is the best way to go.
