Wicked slow?

Probly one of the newest here. When downloading files ( a perfect circle thirteenth step) I find the downloading speed at 1kb a sec. Anyone have a suggestion. I have 250kb/sec ish cable.

If so and you're still encountering problems, please provide the staff with as much information as possible (version that you're using, O/S, Router, Firewall, Antivirus, etc.).
