petch01
hi, i wanted to port forward for BitComet. but when i accessed my modem settings, it says 'Please put in an IP in the LAN Clients page'. Can anyone please tell me what to do? Exactly what it says.'Please put in an IP in the LAN Clients page'. You want to forward your ports because you've more than one computer. Your router has to know for what computer you want to forward. For a network a computer can be identified by its IP. Ip's on a network can be for example 192.168.60.1 (comp A) , 192.168.60.2 (comp B) etc. Hope this helped. Petch01
dawin45
every computer that's linked to the interenet has 2 have an adress, that's youre ip... isn't youre modem automated like the ip is set from the server?
