jackliao Posted June 26, 2006 Share Posted June 26, 2006 Starting from last week, i found out my bit comet occured a problem. The download speed decreases significantly. I am using 2MB ADSL, normally the average fast download speed i have is 160 KB/s , but ever since two weeks ago, The fastest speed i reach is only 65 KB/s, *I normally download from animesuki, so the torrents i download have many seed and peers, but the speed is still only 65 KB/s , how can I get my speed back *at first i assume this is my ISP problem, but when i try http download, i got a speed of 160 KB/s , why is it like this, can anybody help me? p.s I tried other bit torrent client, but my speed is still lower than 65 KB/s , Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The problem suddenly started two weeks ago? yah, this just happen two weeks ago until now. I have been using bit comet for more than 2 years, and this is the first time i encounter this problem. I ask my ISP already, they did not limit anything. why is my bit comet download rate only 40 KB/s while http download (like download.com) is like 160 KB/s. But we'll try a third time here: force encription in BC settings That means and meant, go in to your bitcomet settings, in the advanced/connection section and set protocol encryption to "always".
