Soraiya Posted June 27, 2006 Share Posted June 27, 2006 When pausing your torrent, the trackers within that torrent will continue to operate, in other words it will continue updating the peer list for you, so that when you resume, you can immediately connect to the peers in your swarm. When Stopping the torrent, this stops all activity, including tracker connections. Thus, if you're leaving your internet connection on, and/or if you're planning to continue downloading torrents, use Pause instead of stop.
