I agree Morton, I played around with Utorrent for a while and was loving the RSS feed thing ( although setting it is a pain in the a** until you are over the learning curve) / media center master (which I know a lot of us use) has Utorrent intergration , but it is a little shoty. Even if RSS feed intergration isnt something the Bitcomet development team want to work on right now, Maybe they can find a way for bitcomet to recognize when you are downloading something frequently ( say a certain series through EZTV) and could automatically download the next torrent in the series automatically. (Info Note... EZTV doesnt even support thier own RSS feed right now due to the workload, but there is another RSS feed that tries to mimic the RSS Feed EZTV would put out ) / ANyone got any ideas to help the developers add something like this that wouldnt make them want to pull their hair out? I will read up on it, but I know I would probably rather slit my wrists than tax my brain so hard lol Solar....

are you talking about a way to tell bitcomet to download one torrent before another ?

I think Utorrent's GUI is pretty plane jane. I am like you TUS. I would rather use simple software that actually works than have to use bloated programs with bells and whistles that just wind up "blowing".....

as much as we all wish the links / browser / search / etc... would work, we are just going to need to realize that the programers are working on more pressing issues ( like the shutdown problems) let them work and I promise you that they will tell you if the eventually fix it..... that being said, Bitcomet is still the best torrenting program out there.

I recommend not using the built in search... better to just use your favorite browser seperate from bitcomet....(torrent turbo search) is a great add on form google chrome if you are wanting to search the top bittorent sites all at the same time....

I just wanted to let you guys know that I have also been having this issue ( it does seem to be happening with EZTV downloads. The magnet link pop up window displays the information correctly ( i.e. file name etc...) but for some reason the extensions are still missing when the file is downloaded. If you will remember, this was happening a year or so ago after bitcomet was updated. Not saying what is causing this issue, but I am going to say that The Usual SUspects reply that this is not happening to others was a little out of line. I usually agree with your posts, but you really do have a bit of an attitude on here sometimes. I understand that answering the same questions or providing the same information all the time can suck, but dang dude..... You are starting to remind me of the guy on Gold Rush Alaska that everyone hates because he is such an @$$hole. I do think you know what you are talking about most times, but I wish you would stop being such an a** and just help people since that is what your job on this board is all about. Otherwise, maybe take some time off ..... I think your attitude and responses are sometimes why more people dont come on here and post things, because they are afraid of what kind of remarks you are going to reply with.....

I tried to "like" the above comment, but got an error so I wanted to make sure the development team got a HUGE pat on the back. I am very lucky to not have a visual or hearing impairment but was very happy to see the fast response from BITCOMET to TimySebastion's request. This just reinforces the reasons I chose Bitcomet !!!!!! Solar....

I agree with T.U.S. It's very hard to help you without you following the "READ THIS BEFORE POSTING" and supplying the requested info. That being said, I am going to Second T.U.S. when he told you that your problem is with Internet Explorer and not with BitComet. You most likely have a pop up blocker / spam filter / i.e. that is directly blocking communication with BitComet. Try disabling those types of add on ( and dont forget to turn off those annoying toolbars - they are the culprit for 99% of the errors you will ever get in I.E. ) Keep us informed if you get it to work or still have problems!!!! Good luck and when in doubt, just "Google it" LOL Solar.....

Did you try turning off your computer / modem / and router / wait a few minutes and then boot them all again ? Also , did you check to make sure you had your green light ? I have had this happen before and after a reboot of everything, starting working great again!!! Hope this helps.... Solar....

I just wanted to go on record as saying that I have also noticed very few people on LTS lately. Not sure if this is a real issue or not per the previous post, but it does seem like files ( i.e. tv shows) that I download weekly with lots of LTS 'ers just havent had any or very many... :( ITs a shame really, cause people really need to understand how this feature can increase their download speeds if enabled. I know that you can check a specific files summary page to view the upload / download rate of LT Seeds and Emule etc... , but I think it would be great to have a tab in the main window that would show the rate of each specific one. Right now (unless I am totally mental / and please correct me if I am ) the only option is ( Seeds / peers (all) ) The reasoning I have for this is so I can tell, at a glance, which of my files my fellow LT Seeders are downloading and possibly re-route some upload bandwidth to them .... What do you guys think.... Is this do-able ? If I am totally clueless on this topic and you have any better ways, please carve them on a ball bat and smack me up side the head with it!!!!

Sounds like you are downloading from someone who likes to force you to seed for a while before they will give out the remaining files. I usually just sit tight for a few days and the rest of the files will get distributed eventually...

@ Plodder, BItcomet is still the best around. I think the only reason that most people are using utorrent etc... is because it has been around a lot longer and some people have created external programs that can auomatically download torrents ( i.e. media center master) .... That being said, I think there are just some people that refuse to read up on all the things that really make bitcomet shine ( for example, LTseeding ) LT seeding is awesome.... and the one thing about it, no one knows what you are downloading from LT seeds vs regular torrent traffic.... it is internal to just bitcomet.....

Man, you guys complaining are a trip. They told you when the service first started that it was in BETA and that there were problems. There have been many discussions on here regarding issues that some people are having. That being said, you were well aware of the possibility of problems when you sent in the money and subscribed for the VIP service. Come on guys, lets all put our big boy/girl pants on here and try to help the programmers with constructive information instead of just coming on here flaming them about the same old tired crap....
